James Sturges
James is a first year PhD student in the Rehage Lab for Coastal Fish Ecology & Fisheries. His dissertation work focuses on using stable isotopes analyses to study the food web structure and function across the FCE. James is interested in how hydrological restoration efforts and invasive species, coupled with the effects of climate change, alter nutrient cycling and food web dynamics across the system. He hopes that a more detailed understanding of food webs will lead to better informed management decisions.
