Sara Schoen
Sara Schoen is a PhD candidate at FIU’s Tropical Fish Ecology Lab and Predator Ecology & Conservation Lab. She is a statistical biologist interested in the factors relating to moray eel and barracuda abundace. Her research focuses on utilitizing Global FinPrint data to explore these species and the usage of archival data. Currently, she is also involved in projects to investigating the impacts of heavy metal pollution on predator species such as coastal sharks and barracuda and the genetic analyses of Oceanic White Tip shark populations.
