Valentina Palm

Valentina Palm is an investigative journalism graduate student at FIU, passionate about reporting that shines a light on community issues to spark change. She is the editor-in-chief of FIU's student publication PantherNow and in her master's program has taken on environmental reporting in South Florida. Valentina is interested in data and multimedia journalism and how to employ them to write compelling stories about scientific research. A native of Caracas, Venezuela, she understands the importance of the freedom of the press and the responsibility of accurately reporting the truth.
