My research focus involves molecular level characterization of crude oils most especially their isomeric and hetero-atoms distribution by complementing gas phase separation with trapped ion mobility – Mass Spectroscopy (GC-TIMS-MS). Moreover, I hope to understand the photo degradation products of common crude oil under different irradiation conditions to understand their environmental fate.
