Ibis "Tari" Lopez Jimenez

My research in environmental epigenetics focuses on the effects of climate change on key species in coral reefs in Puerto Rico. I am also interested in how anthropogenic and climatic changes alter the dynamics (ecological, reproductive, health, etc.) of reef ecosystems and the services they provide. To me, it is important to study the interactions between these organisms and their environments for the purpose of developing indicators of the condition of marine coastal ecosystems and guiding their restoration.
