Lauren is studying freshwater shrimp movement at the Luquillo Long Term Ecological Research site in El Yunque forest, Puerto Rico. Through mark-recapture sampling of shrimp in headwater streams before, during and after simulated drought conditions, we aim to investigate the drivers of shrimp movement during hydrological disturbance.
