Sara Casareto is a PhD student focused on behavioral ecology, specifically focusing on trophic interactions. Mainly focused on elasmobranch biology and ecology, Sara is focusing her dissertation work in the Rookery Bay region, looking at juvenile shark interactions and factors influencing their habitat use. Sara hopes to further her career in predator-prey interactions and elucidate management and conservation strategies for shark and ray populations.
