Mary Williams

Mary has a B.S. degree in Biology from Old Dominion University where she gained research experience
by completing IUCN Red List surveys on deep-sea organisms, conducted an undergraduate research
project on benthic coral reef interactions, and worked as an undergraduate intern and later as research
technician. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree at FIU investigating the role of sponges on
tropical coral reef resilience.
