I am a passionate PhD candidate working on hydrogeology and focusing on hydrogeological modeling in South Florida. Under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Sukop, I explore particle tracking simulations of septic effluent in Miami-Dade County, modeling of deep injection wells, and data analysis of monitoring wells and nutrient data; my work entails Python scripting, GIS, and some remote sensing techniques. In parallel to my studies, I have been a Teaching Assistant for intro and upper-level geological courses at FIU. As a student, I have served in different leadership roles at the Geological Society of America: Student Rep. of the Hydrogeology Division, Student Rep. of the Southeastern Division, and Chair of the Student Advisory Council (as a GSA board member).
