I am a Ph.D. student in the IMaGeS (Integrative Marine Genomic of Symbiosis) Lab researching the effects of light and UV stress on coral reefs through the anemone model organism, Exaiptasia. When I am not spending my time in the lab, I am an avid expeditionary scientist, having spent much time out in the wild. My goals are to help communities and the environment as much as I can through the power of education, research effort, and multi-media engagement.
