Erin Johnson
Erin Johnson is a PhD student focused on a mixture of coastal ecosystem ecology and education. Specifically, my work will investigate physical and chemical defenses of seagrass and its effects on sea urchin foraging strategies. I will also connect ecological studies and education using extended reality and examine students’ attitudes and learning gains towards marine ecology and conservation. In the future, I hope to continue my ecological research on species interactions in seagrass ecosystems and use my research to further advance marine ecology in education.
