My work will focus on how environmental stressors associated with climate change will impact decapod crustacean (i.e. stone crabs, spiny lobsters, and king crab) physiology and ecology. Many of these crustaceans occur in Florida and form the basis for some of the state’s most valuable fisheries. Therefore, a focus on the role these stressors play in these species’ ecology and sustainability are of utmost importance.
