My research is pertaining to climate change's effects on native and non-native plant species in South Florida. My current work is about the effect of saltwater intrusion caused by sea level rise on two key species of economic importance, Sabal palmetto and Tabebuia heterophylla. I also work with optical sensor technology to research the best management practices of key Florida species. I would like to continue focusing my research on sustainable crop development and impacts of climate change on natural flora.
