Michael Borbolla
Michael Borbolla is a PhD student working with Dr. Elizabeth Anderson in the Tropical Rivers Lab. Michael’s main system of study is the Miami River, which has high boat traffic, deep history, and pressing issues. Michael’s main points of focus are the Miami River’s fish assemblages, how pollution impacts them and its neighboring communities, and the perceptions of anglers on its health/accessibility. Michael hopes for his work to offer valuable insights for preserving the Miami River and its neighboring communities.
